Saints vs. Bears: Mitchell Trubisky Active for Game

The Chicago Bears will take on the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon, and as expected the team will have quarterback Mitchell Trubisky under center, as he will make his return from a left shoulder injury.

Trubisky, who suffered the injury in a Week 4 win over the Vikings, will return to the Bears’ lineup as they try to rebound from a disappointing loss to the Oakland Raiders, and Trubisky will look to kickstart his season after a lackluster start to the campaign.

Defensive tackle Bilal Nichols, who has been out with a broken hand, will also play in the game, as will offensive lineman Ted Larsen, who was questionable with a knee issue.

The Bears will be without cornerback Duke Shelly and tight end Bradley Sowell, but the team is largely healthy coming out of their bye week. Linebackers Josh Woods and Kevin Pierre-Lewis are inactive for the game, as is defensive lineman Jonathan Harris and offensive lineman Alex Bars. Wide receiver Riley Ridley is also inactive for the game.

The Saints are struggling with their health coming into the game, as quarterback Drew Brees, running back Alvin Kamara, and tight end Jared Cook are all out for Sunday’s contest, which kicks off at 3:25 p.m.
